Sending lights into spiritually dark places
"Here I am; send me!" Mbeya offers biblical studies and ministry-related classes in southern Africa in partnership with local Christian ministries, churches and instructors. Our classes and certificate programs are for personal spiritual enrichment only, and are not accredited for higher education. People who enroll in the classes do so purely for their own spiritual growth and ministry equipping. No school fees are collected, thereby making the program accessible to anyone who is interested and qualified, regardless of economic background. Our Bible classes consist of morning classroom instruction followed by afternoon outreach. Upon completion, students receive a certificate and are better equipped to serve in the ministries to which they are called. Many students have gone on to become pastors, teachers, church planters, or have started ministries of their own.
EDUCATION
Mbeya invites anyone in our region who feels called to serve in ministry to apply for our Bible course program. Classes are offered in Old and New Testament, Leadership, Pastoral Care & Counseling, Personal Finances, Practical Ministry, and Church Planting. Students learn from local and foreign leaders in the church how to build a ministry through relationship-building and evangelism. They learn how to sustain and grow a ministry through long-term discipleship and pastoral care. They are exposed to a variety of teachers and pastors, many who volunteer their time.

OUR MINISTRY
Everyone who serves with Mbeya either volunteers or raises their own support. Those who raise their support are uplifted by individuals and churches who make it possible for them to serve on the field and have their personal needs and expenses provided for. We are thankful for the generosity of well-wishers who make this possible. Beyond supporting those who serve, gifts to the ministry are used for projects and programs and to help with student education, boarding and Bible classes. Undesignated or "Where Most Needed" gifts can help cover organizational and administrative costs associated with running the ministry. While every ministry organization does have overhead and administrative expenses, we do our best to keep these to a minimum so that programs can be as effective as possible. We are grateful for the volunteers who donate their time and gifts to serve in this ministry. We currently do not have any projects or programs for which we are raising funds or for which we have any financial need. Gifts and support that are received will go toward sustaining ongoing, existing programs and individuals. Thank you!
