About Mbeya
Mbeya is a non-denominational, non-profit Christian ministry that oversees a discipleship program which equips and sends out people who feel called to bring good news to hard-to-reach places.
An effective way to send good news to hard-to-reach places is through biblically-competent pastors, teachers and evangelists who know the local languages and understand the culture.
Through the discipleship program, students are exposed to a variety of spiritual and practical life skills to help them become financially self-sustaining while engaged in their ministry calling.
As a Christian ministry, the doctrinal beliefs we adhere to can be found here: The Nicene Creed
Prayer
Prayer is foundational for our ministry.

Education
Some people leave everything behind – families, jobs, villages – for the sake of being educated in and sent out with the Gospel.
In order to make the program accessible to everyone, students do not pay school fees. Through the generosity of supporters, students are provided with work opportunities that help them find food, transport, boarding, and materials for the classroom.
The discipleship program consists of morning instruction followed by afternoon outreach.
In the classroom, students study the Bible from teachers and pastors (both Malawian and foreign) who volunteer their time to serve. The Bible is central to all our instruction, outreach and code of conduct. Practical outreach allows students to practice the things learned in the classroom.
Discipleship
There are a variety of practical outreach opportunities available throughout the country. Daily, weekly and quarterly outreaches to help put into practice the things learned in the classroom.
Our program has a close relationship with Navigators Malawi which provides discipleship training and helps students establish long-term ministry relationships with people.
Through equipping and sending, we want to see every person in our communities have an opportunity to come in contact with the love and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Grace and truth.
Upon completion of the program, some students go out to begin ministries of their own; others choose to stay in Zolozolo and continue ministry at the Zolozolo Bible Center.
